Common questions.

How do I add books?
Tap the + button in the library to pick EPUB, PDF, M4B, or MP3 files from Files, iCloud Drive, or any other Files-provider. You can also tap an EPUB attachment in Mail or Safari and choose "Open in Wick".
Where are my books stored?
Locally, in the app's sandbox. If you enable iCloud sync (iOS Settings → iCloud → Wick), your library metadata, notes, highlights, and reading progress sync between your own iOS devices via Apple's end-to-end encrypted CloudKit. See the privacy policy for full detail.
Can I import my own fonts?
Yes. Go to Settings → Font Library and import any .ttf or .otf file. The font becomes available in the reader's font picker.
What's the focus mode?
Focus mode hides all reader chrome (page indicator, toolbar) and pairs with an optional iOS Focus Filter so the app can also silence notifications. Tap the page once in the reader to toggle.
Why isn't my AO3 sign-in working?
AO3 sometimes redirects to a login page when a session expires. In Wick, open Catalog → AO3 Subscriptions, sign out, and sign back in. Credentials are stored only in the iOS Keychain on your device.
How do I export my notes?
In the Notes tab, tap the share icon and pick a format (Markdown, JSON, CSV, or Readwise CSV). The export covers all books or just the current one, depending on where you triggered it.
Does Wick collect any data?
No. Wick has no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs. Books and notes stay on your device. See the privacy policy.
Which file formats does Wick support?
EPUB (2 and 3), PDF, M4B audiobooks (with chapter navigation), and MP3 audiobooks.
I want a feature that isn't here.
Email or open a GitHub issue. Wick has a small surface by design — not every request will land — but every one will be read and considered.

Still stuck?

Email hello@wickreader.app with the words "Wick" and "help" anywhere in the subject. Include your iOS version, iPhone or iPad model, and what you were doing when the problem occurred.
